*** 18 Feb 24 - I've uploaded two extra profiles for the centre and side swivel mounts with different locating pins, as it appears that some printers (X1C?) have sealant put in the centre two holes, which means there is not enough depth for the original version's pins. Please let me know if they work, or not.

*** 02 Feb 24 - I've added two more designs. One with a slight angle built in so the gauge faces more directly in line with the camera and the other one is adjustable with a snap fit connector built in and centre or side mounting swivel ***

There are a few humidity/temperature gauge holders on Printables but I found they were difficult to see, being either obscured by the heat bed, or by the extruder when printing.

I made this one which is easy to see from the front door and from the Handy App. As a bonus, it also doubles as a cover for the 4 holes at the back of the machine between the stepper motors.

The model only needs a couple of supports for the pins and prints in ~15 min @ 0.20mm.

I printed in ABS but should be ok in PLA+ or PETG.

Uses a commonly available gauge from Amazon/Aliexpress. Search for “mini hygrometer temperature gauge”.

Hey there? Do we have different versions of holes? I kept trying to insert mine flush but no matter what I would do it would not fit. Printed in PLA+ Humidity gauge that swivels fits perfectly.

That is strange, it looks like yours has some kind of sealant in the holes which is preventing the pins from going in far enough to make the cover fit flush with the top. Mine is an early P1P, perhaps they have made some changes along the production line. I'll make a shorted version and post it up for you.

I've uploaded a couple more just with shorter pins (a couple of mm). Can you let me know if they help with making your cover flush please. If not, I'll modify and try again, it would be good if they suited all machines.

Awesome, I printed side-mounted with swivel version, after I skimmed through the comments. Works perfectly and puts my PLA Basic Green that came with the printer to good use. I might replace it with PETG but for now this is super nice. Thanks for the model!

Simple design that not only holds your hydrometer, it also blocks debris from falling through the holes in the back of the printer. Thanks to the model designer for sharing their work.

Hi mate, I've just uploaded a new version which is slightly angled towards the camera for even better visibility. I made another which you could turn the gauge on a swivel but decided a fixed angle version was better.
