should be about an inch. you can scale it accordingly, but make sure you scale the bolts the same amount

I lightly sanded the threads to smooth them and then glazed with a butane torch. a little bit of lubricant on the threads helps a lot. &nbsp;Tops of the screws are hollow for strength or you can design a tip to fit inside the hollow to support your stand. &nbsp;I use this for my trade show table to mount my extendable aluminum pole for my banner. This pole had a tripod foot that I took off to raise the sign up and save floor space by eliminating the tripod. It will fit various sized vertical poles and the opposite side from the threaded openings is tapered to center the pole and clamp it.&nbsp;Let me know how it works for you or if you have ideas to improve it. The pic is of the first version with an open pole end. I have changed the design since then to the one uploaded.
