Description

My goal was to create something that I would use on my own wedding as table decor. But I wanted it to be be more interesting than just one thing of which I'd print a bunch and call it a day. Here you can see the result!

It's a modular Etagere. Every plate ( 5 different sizes ) can be combined with every pole and the candle holder ( inner diameter has 21mm ). You can also combine poles to make it higher. The pole with the ring has a slot to add a table or name sign to it ( the visible part has a diameter of 30mm ).

When it's disassambled it's really compact to store anywhere!

Warnings!

- Don't leave your candles unintended when used on this decor set!

- The parts are very light weight and can be easily knocked over.

Printing:

All parts and the connection were tested with the “0.16mm Optimal” Profile.

Because of the very tight tolerances, please print the test profile first to confirm a working connection.

I can not guarantee if any layer height above works.

The only part that needs support is the pole with the sloted ring.

Assembly:

A slotted screwdriver might be helpful, but not mandatory

  1. If you chose a bottom plate with slots for some feet, press fit the feet into it.
  2. The bottom plate always needs the small adapter plug. Put it inside the plate until the bottom is flush with the one from the plate. Now turn it clockwise (if you look from above) until you feel a click.
  3. Now you can choose any pole. Stick it on top and also turn it clockwise until you feel the click.
  4. If you then want another plate before the next pole, start with the bigger adapter. Add it to the pole, click in clockwise, add the plate, click in clockwise, add the next pole, click in clockwise.

Adding a Table / Name sign:

  • cut a piece of paper with a diameter roughly 38mm. The visible part has a diameter of 30mm.

Disassambly:

Here you probably need the slotted screwdriver and maybe even pliers.

  • You follow the assembly steps backwards but in order to get the adapter plugs out, use the screwdriver and pliers.

The connection will become loose over time if you often assemble and disassemble it. You will have to reprint some parts from time to time.

Let me know if you need a different diameter for your candles!

Happy printing! :)
