Description

I have noticed a lot of people reaching out asking about how I get such clean/crisp light boxes so I decided i will just upload them into their own file. I personally seem to have even more consistent results when using my A1 over my P1s but both produce excellent results! You can always have the occasional wisp or weird little quirk but these profiles have gotten me hundreds of what I would consider perfect prints. I do my front plates at 1mm thickness unless i need to do shading but never any less since that can cause more imperfections to be seen! I included one of my custom files I have printed and sold for a reference and some pictures of finished prints using these profiles as well. I hope the help you take your lights to the next level!!!

sorry to hear you’re having issues, but me as well as many many others have been printing hundreds of light boxes with this profile with 0 issues.. can I ask how often you clean your print bed and wiping it down with ipa, and are you using the textured pei?

il trying again to find the issue. I did a manual bed tramming to check. I’m using the 0.5 default line width so no issue but there is no details. it’s not the first time I’m seeing the 0.32. I’m using the pei clean with ipa and soap and hot water there is some tweaking in your filament setting. the first one with 10mm3/and there is the the generic pla LB. why two different settings ? why the cool plate is selected as default and not the pei ? I’m printing on pei. my filaments is calibrated and plate clean. thank you for your responses

try reimporting that 3mf, should be a “black pla light box” filament as well as textured pei sheet selected from default I believe something changed when you imported it

Mind adding those pictures? I’d love to see it otherwise I’ll plan on a strip around the outside but am worried about the middle. Thanks!

No problem!! Thank you so much! Do you do custom designs? I PM'ed you about changing the Skillz portion of this sign to Everybody's and would totally be willing to pay (I'm not selling this at all). I love your designs. Thanks for your time and for sharing!

I'm glad my profile has worked so well for you! I'd suggest you remind folks to check the orientation of their infill on the base of the print so it's not parallel to their first top surface layer or it'll sag and look nasty, maybe even fail. You can also crank the line width back up to 0.42-0.50 for the base (as it's not detailed) and save a ton of time. That's why I upload all of mine as two separate pieces using two separate profiles - different global values 😊

I usually just use a base .24 mm for my backplates seems to work well enough haha

Hey, is it necessary to use your filaments profiles? I'm using bambu's filament along with a silk PLA overture that I did a temp tower and the best one is at 215 degrees but no more calibration done other than to the printer and I check all the boxes before printing, flow and bed leveling. Thank you, I will try this profile with coasters.
