Description

I built a v-spooler (by Fryby Additive) but wasn't thrilled with the hand crank. So, I downloaded Maker Dave's "V-Spooler Drill Attachment" and gave it a try. While it worked for slow spooling, I needed something sturdier to handle the torque of my 20v drill. I went through 3 bits in one spool.

I made some tweaks to increase tensile strength and handle higher torque:

  • No weak point hole: I skipped the original hole, as it seemed like a potential weak spot. Feel free to modify it if you prefer.

I've already spooled 3x 1kg spools from a 3kg spool, and it works like a charm!

quick clean print. allows for regular driver bit rather than socket adapter.
