Description
Silencing P1S a lot by making the printer float on springs.
Springs are generic 8mm diameter springs from aliexpress. 20-30mm in length should be good.
Instructions
- Order generic 8mm springs from Aliexpress
- Print 4 units of the “base”
- Print 4 units of “small_foot” or “big_foot”. (I'm using small foot but included bigger too.)

I've thought about doing something like this since I got my P1S. All the plants I've worked in over the years had some variation of this type foot on equipment. I like the idea, but will probably go with 10mm dia springs with 1.2mm wire, just to make them a bit more robust. Well done!

I have had this kind of setup in 2 of my previous Creality printers with good results.
And now also silenced P1S significantly.
