Description

THE Filament Clip… now with a label!

Just when you thought it couldn't get better, THE Filament Clip has now got a label so you can quickly identify your filament. Better still, colour code your different filament types so they're instantly recognisable.

Easy as…

(1) Print the main clip in your chosen colour and select the number of copies

(2) Choose a build plate with the label that matches your filament and again choose the number of copies

(3) Once printed, push fit the label into place and attach to your filament! Note: You may wish to add a dot of glue if the label is loose.

Build plate glue is a must with this one.

Also, the font used for the labels is ‘Arial Black’ should you wish to print your own onto the blank labels.

I really like these, however I have started to vacuum seal my partial filament rolls in individual bags. Using the existing design in the vacuum bag distorts the clip as the air is removed from the bag. I have created a remix of this that spans the width of the spool to prevent that distortion. Is that something that I can share under the standard digital license?

Great print! the only problem is that you can’t print the labels and clips on the same plate due to their different layer heights.

Richtig gut! Super wäre noch ein Label für „PLA+“, das nutzt man ja doch auch häuftig, und sehr gerne noch welche für „extrudr“, u. a. „PLA NX2“ 🙂🙏

It would be ideal to have the clip be just a bit more snug to fit more spools. I'm heating the end and squeezing together to make it work. Otherwise great print!
