Description
This is a nesting box for a Robin. Robins prefer an open box and this is a size recommended by the RSPB. place the box in a shaded or semi shaded area 3 to 5 foot from the floor. Can be printed in PLA PLA+ PETG. The box is screwed into position using one screw through the hole in the roof. The box can be taken down for cleaning by turning the 2 fixtures on the side half a turn.

The nest box printed well in black Sunlu PETG. The roof printed reasonably well but might have benefited from support on the curved sections at the rear. The fastening method could do with a redesign as they were difficult to use and don’t feel particularly secure.
In spite of the minor faults, the overall design is perfect for attracting robins to nest and it looks pretty good too. For this reason, I thought it was worth a boost. Thank you
