Description

I made this remix of the BLV AMS riser by benlevi to accept 8mm ledstrips.

Its pointed towards the printer at an angle of 30 degrees to make sure most of the light goes direct into the printer!

All credits go to benlevi for this awsome AMS riser.

Turned out nice. Had some issues with the radii but that's the nature of the design. The LED spacings are nice but due to a short cable, i had to drill a hole on the right side to find a way out for the USB-LED cable. All in all, nice and cool. Thx for the remix 😎💪🏻👍🏻

This is a great project. I struggled with the supports in the mounting holes for the TPU gasket. (they were a challenge to remove...) Overall, a great add-on! I used a 4mm LED strip to make teh installtion super easy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K18HS94/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

there was an issue with the supports for the pieces meant to be a seal between the original print and the top glass plate. The supports go too deep into the pinhole and are almost impossible to fully remove. I ended up chopping the pins off of the seal file, and I'm going to print it in TPU in an attempt to make sure that less noise is generated. the 3mf file that is suggested makes it so that the only TPU printed is in the buttons or the drawers and not for the seal which is confusing.

Why so much TPU? I don’t get it. Just want to print it or the original with support for 8mm LED powered by internal USB.
