I saw an idea like this online and decided to recreate it as a gift for my wife. It's pretty simple, roll the dice to determine your date night plans!
Printing Instructions
You don't need to use supports, but tree supports for the text on the dice will help to keep the text tidy (and they come off fairly easily). A 0.2mm layer height with 10% to 15% infill also works.
Print each component in the filament colour of your choice - I used Wood PLA for the dice and storage box.
No need for AMS, but if you'd like the text on the main card to be a different colour to the base then you just need to pause the print on the correct layer in your slicer and do a manual filament swap. If you're using a 0.2mm layer height then this should be at the beginning of layer 9 (i.e. 1.8mm).
The heart is printed separately so you don't need to worry about it being the same colour as the text.
There is a .3mf project file included which has the different parts each on separate build plates.
Assembly Instructions
The main card base fits into the tray and can be super glued in place. The heart can then be glued onto the main card. No other assembly is required besides the storage box lid sliding into place in the box.
Additional “Sexy Time” Dice
You'll note that there is one side of the dice that says “Roll the Dice” - this is so that you can use a separate dice to determine your bedtime antics. You can find one on MakerWorld if you do a quick search.
