Description

Description

Holds a PTFE coupler a little more forward than the other models for a gentler curve of the PTFE tubing. The holder is held with a screw and can rotate freely if not screwed in all the way. There is a small indent on the side for some adhesives so it hugs the curve of the machine more tightly. If you're using a Y-splitter, you can reuse the included coupler from your Bambu.

 

*Update May 2024: Added an improved design which uses the ridges on the included coupler to securely lock it in place. Requires an extra 2 insert and screws to securely clamp shut.

 

Use the STEP file to modify based on what screws you have. The included STL is sized for:

 

Screws:

  • 1x M3x8mm and 1x M3x12mm for mounting to the machine
  • 2x M3x8mm to clamp onto the PTFE coupler
  • or 4x Countersunk M3 screws between 4-8mm for updated coupler holder
  • 1x M3x6mm to secure the holder to the mount

Inserts

  • 1x M3x5 Inserts for the frame
  • 2x M3x5 Inserts for the coupler holder
  • or 4x M3x6 Inserts for updated coupler holder

The holder should be printed on their side (no bridging). Ironing works nicely.
