Description
REMIXED the Bambu spool shim STL. Added a wider lip to aid in handling the lock and to make removal easier. Foot is over 2x wider to improve printing without any issues. The print file is for 10 copies at once. Yes it is a REMIX of the original Bambu stl.

I had a spool come apart in my Sunlu dryer; I run my filament out of the dryer in a counter clockwise direction, opposite of how it runs in the AMS. I know I snapped the spool firmly, so not my error. So, I'll be using these locks going forward. They print and fit beautifully. I can place two on the spool for extra protection. Also, my desiccant insert that I use as added weight when needed fits with these installed.

Everyone who refines an AMS system should print this Spool Locker so that your spool cannot untwist on its own and you can no longer use the filament.

I appreciate your effort but the new lip is too tall. It extends past the lip on the spool. It will work fine in an AMS unit, but it won't allow the spool to rotate on an external spool holder.

yep, I use dryers for my external. never used hanging holder. I'll make note

Thank you for the extra effort. In the interim I have printed several batches of the original BL model. I'll add this new one to my collected models for use in the future. Thank you again for your extra work and rapid responses.
