AMS Riser (+ Plates Holder) for X1C/P1S & X2D/P2S
Print Profile(5)

Description
IMPORTANT: This AMS Riser is an accessory of the
It is not a standalone part and cannot be used independently.
Optional 5-Plates Holder
You can print the AMS Riser with or without the 5-Plate Holder. Follow the instructions below and select the appropriate print profile.
Two Height Options Available

• 11cm / 4.33in – the standard height
• 8.2cm / 3.23in – a shorter version
Choose the one that best fits your space.
Material Recommendation
I printed the model in PLA, and it works great.
PETG is also a good option if you prefer a bit more flexibility and heat resistance.
ABS can be used too, but keep in mind it may shrink during printing, so some calibration might be needed for a perfect fit.
Printing instruction:
1) Select one of the profiles for your printer. Those are the new parts of the frame:
- X1C/P1S - AMS Riser - Frame
- P2S - AMS Riser - Frame
These are the replacement components for the original frame. Choose the plate with the cable hole on the back left or right side, depending on your setup.

2) Print the riser: You have different options, print just one of the following profiles:
- AMS Riser (No plates holder)
This includes the top components for the AMS Riser only. You can choose your preferred height here.

- AMS Riser + Plates Holder (PLA Support) profile
This includes the top components for the AMS Riser plus a 5-plate holder. You can choose the height here.
I highly recommend this profile, but it requires PLA/PETG support filament for the interface layer. Using this method will give you a much smoother surface and reduce the margin of error.

AMS Riser + Plates Holder profile
Includes the top components for the AMS Riser plus a 5-plate holder. You can choose the height here. This profile uses the same filament for supports, making the print slightly faster, but it may cause some artefacts on flat surfaces.

Update:

I’ve added a new plate with a couple of high-profile AMS holders, recommended for AMS 2 users printing the plate-holder version.
These increase the clearance between the AMS 2 bottom vent and the model, allowing better airflow.
Assembly instruction:
