Remix of the Bambu Lab Build Plate Holder by javawizard @javawizard_449936 - I cut off one of the ends and pretty much rounded over all of the hard edges.
I had a few issues when originally printing with some pretty cheap filament. Here's a note from javawizard:
“As configured, you'll need to print it at a 45 degree angle in order for it to fit on the Bambu X1's buildplate. You'll probably want to use a brim and turn off the aux fan as well, or print on the high temp plate (smooth PEI) without glue for best adhesion. (protip: if the high temp build plate bubbles after you remove the print, flip the plate upside down, set the bed temp to 105 degrees, and let it sit for an hour and it'll be good as new.) Definitely use a brim if you're printing on the textured PEI plate.”
I ended up printing with a high temp smooth PEI plate and it came out great. I also tricked the software and printed the first couple layers in a higher quality filament (Inland Red) for good bed adhesion and quality base layers & then switched it over to the cheap (Wellshow White) to finish out the bulk of it.
It turned out pretty great and the plates slide in and out nicely.
