Mine turned out fine, but the gap was a problem for me, too. I printed the original for screws, but then saw the pins instead, and re-printed those pieces. A little dab of glue and it is serving my toddler well.

All Parts Printed - No Screws

Hello, I think you are asking why the parts are separated and not integrated, they are removed and oriented to increase strength with a low tolerance for glue.

no me acaba de convencer.. necesitar tornillos para un juguete para niños nunca es buena opción. Me gustó por el diseño, pero le falta algo para que no se caigan las ruedas (y que no sean tornillos) para ser el ideal ;)

I'm not entirely convinced... using screws for a children's toy is never a good option. I liked the design, but it's missing something to prevent the wheels from falling off (and that's not screws) to be ideal ;)

<p>I've made some additions for consideration. It seems the designers profile used M2.5 x 15mm screws, so ive added pegs to some parts for an all printed version that will require considerable post processing including glue, and be less stable than the screw version, more likely to break apart into small parts when handled by a child.</p>
