Description

Here is a easily printed spool mount for the top of the A1 Mini. You will need 2 roller blade bearings and 2 small screws. Clear the supports and assemble!

this is amazing! is there any way to incorporate the carry handle back into the design? that would be such a slick space sensitive design

sure, when I get a chance I’ll put one on. I didn’t leave it on there because I don’t move my printer ever

Thank you for the model! I just wanted to buy some roller blade bearings but apparently there are a lot of different types/seizes. Can you share the exact type/size of bearings you have used. Thank you in advance.

It would be nice what size of bearings your print requires, otherwise it's quite pointless.

does the spool roll not interfere with the x axis at it's highest point... the ptfe will surely be too high at the printers highest point also right ?

It actually stabilized my A1 mini and it doesnt shake as much now due to weight of the spool not hanging far in the back and "swaying" the machine, now the filament weight sits on vertical axis and movesweight distribution. this is trully great addition to A1 mini, and also, for bearings, just print them. They work great for this purpose. Dab a drop of oil that came with machine inside the palstic bearing and it works like a charm.

thanks for your work but sorry, i can not recommend this. On my first Print Try the cable above get stuck on your Filament Holder and my Printer looses his Home an literally crashed - luckily i was nearby...
