Description
A few months later and I have finally finished this project.
- 3D Printed Modular Split Flap Display with 37 Characters Per Module
- Small Size, 8 Modules are 320mm, 3 Modules are 130mm Wide. 80mm Tall
- Web Interface To Switch Between Operation Modes, modes include custom input, date mode, time mode
All files and my original firmware can be found on my github
Jordan Hoff (@jhoff) has done some amazing work with the firmware, his repo is here
Assembly instructions and wiring diagrams can be found here
You can join the discord channel to discuss the display here
Any questions, Please ask in the comments so everyone can see.
Notes:
- I have printed the flaps using a 0.2mm nozzle for more detail, please try at 0.4mm if you like, but 0.2mm is recommended.
- I do not have an AMS, instead I am running modified filament change gcode to pause when the ams would, to manually swap filament.
- The gcode file is on my github, in the “other” folder.
