The air has been very dusty lately, so I designed a lid for my 5L stainless steel kettle spout, which doesn’t have a dust cover.
This is a simple and fun design that is easy to print. I used the default settings of the machine and printed with an off-brand PLA. However, I recommend that you adjust the printing settings based on the properties of the filament you use, rather than applying my configuration directly, to avoid printing failure.
The printing setting I used is three-color printing, and it took 2h39m to print. If you print in monochrome, it can be done in 1h9m. If you have acrylic paint at home, you can also print in one color and then paint it by hand, which can save a lot of time.
The lid size is approximately 36x46x61mm, with a thickness of 1.68mm. It is suitable for a 5L stainless steel kettle spout.
You can try resizing the file to fit your kettle spout.
***Notice! Do not use when the kettle is heating
