Filament Splitter - switchable

This is a switchable filament splitter. You may raise the question for what, so here is my idea behind. A splitter to use different external roles running into one pipe are available everywhere, but a splitter of one external role going to 2 different printer, I haven't found. So I created this splitter where you can select the outgoing line and therefore feed different printer without deconnecting the PTFE all the time. Maybe you like it, maybe not. Since I have the new SUNLU S4 dryer, I think it is very useful….

In combination with my “no look” AMS Pluginguide you can easily switch around. In my setup below I'm able to use just by switching and change plugins 2 regular AMS and one Python system on either Printer 1 or Printer 2.

Print without support possible, but some cleaning needs to be done. So I preferred to use the support for the body

Changed switching area with a element to fix the channel, because I figured out that it happens during material change that innerpart moves a bit and either filament can't be transported or is moving into the wrong channel. In addition I added a holder for the part

Smoothed out the channels so no edges anymore where filament can stock. Increased width of the channels by 0.3mm in diameter and changed main part to standing print layout.

Update 02.06.2025

Added an option for the switch fixture in TPU. This one has a smaller diameter to snap over the switch element and a bit increased to click better into the closure. I use this one as it doesn't get loose over time.
