Bio
I'm a retired engineer, designing and printing things that I find useful.
I am not here to farm points or sell glitzy, useless junk. If I feel that something I make can be useful to others, I share it.
I've been hobby printing for about 15 years. I started with a Felix 3 printer, a real dinosaur compared to modern printers. I now have a P1S and an A1 Mini.

When playing the game "Azul" with friends, after clearing the board between rounds, we would sometimes have forgotten who's turn it was to play. Passing this token to the active player before taking the break solved that problem.

When playing the game "Azul" my friends and I would sometimes forget who's turn it was after taking a short break from the game. To solve this problem, I created this token to be passed to whomever was the active player. It works!

Great print! I added three balls inside just for fun. It printed fine with supports turned off.

I scaled it up to 101% for a perfect press fit.

I like so grow long mung bean sprouts. All the sprouting trays I found for sale were much too short, so I created a system of tall stacking trays. I have used it many times, it is very good for longer sprouts. 3 tablespoons of mung beans will give you a full tray of sprouts.

At the suggestion of a couple of local moms, I printed it 85% scale. It came out great.

I created a hitch cover for University of Louisiana, Lafayette, so I thought I'd make one for my McNeese friends.

I found that if the bottle cap of a Sodastream bottle is tightened too much, the cap could just slip in my fingers, making it difficult to remove. This grip fits the caps of the old and new versions of Sodastream bottles, providing a firm grip on the cap. The grip is tapered to match the tapering of the cap. The slightly curved edge is the top. Just slide the grip down over the cap, and it will stay put. A drop of CA glue will make the bond permanent, but I have not found that necessary.

Easy print, but it is a long one. The model looks great.

I printed this in PLA-CF, which provides the rigidity need to squeeze those darned clamps. It printed perfectly, and works well.
