New to 3D printing. Started woodworking about a year ago and found both hobbies can coexist and work together. Like woodworking, had no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes. WittWorks and MeadMade big influences and a lot of great instructional help. Got the printer just a month ago and have gone way over budget but that’s ok. Like woodworking, making mistakes but learning and growing in skill as I go.

I use these 18L/19QT (because I am in the USA) for filament storage and am always on the lookout for models that hold 5 spools, have a hydrometer mount (both square and circle), and dessicant bead holder(s). Also, must be STURDY. I have found many, but a few break easy or have pins that break coming off the plate. I usually drill those out and add screw inserts with a soldering iron. If something is lacking but I like the model, I will modify it.

Wife is into pen turning, also pours her own acrylic blanks. Besides using tools and models from Maker World I have also created tools, molds, inserts and such to assist her in this hobby.

Better half turns pens and needed an accurate way to cut blanks. Found this on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6alvst_hn88&;t=437s but made mine smaller as the ones on YouTube are meant for bigger bandsaws.

Pretty model, we are at the point in our lives where baubles and such are really not needed, but the time took to find and print this struck a nice chord with the misses on Valentine's day. Printed with Bambu PLA Jade White and Polymaker PLA Satin Red.

My wife started pen turning about a year ago and within six months started casting acrylic pen blanks. Even though she uses mold release and plenty of it, she always has issues getting the blanks to release from the molds, even with compressed air. She's even broken a couple molds doing this and if you buy them they are not cheap. She also uses PVC pipe as a mold too. So, I thought just print molds to be discarded? I already have printed pen stands for display and other tools for her already.

Good quick print. Very little filament. Also fits Inland (Microcenter) filament rolls. Been using Polymaker more and more recently and have found there are very small diameter differences from roll to roll and type to type. Especially with the ones they are rebranding and/or reformulating currently. I adjust in Studio .05 up or down and print extras. Best part of model is it doesn’t extend almost at all past the inside edge of the sides. Critical if in a Bambu AMS as the plastic protrusions that serves as spool guides can hang up non-Bambu spools if an adapter extends too far.

Great print, the second time. First time used Blue PETG and 4 hours in, 75%, the corners lifted and toolhead started ramming into print. Stopped, did full recalibrate and some maintenance because it got really noisy before I stopped it. Second time I used Polymaker CoPE Lemon Yellow on a smooth high temp PEI plate because the CoPE sticks really well to build plates. Came out perfectly flat, and because of earlier comments posted about handle being wrong hole distance I used the ruler tool to measure plate and handle. Both were identical and line up after printing so designer had fixed that problem. Great print, have proper router, dovetail bit, and a sheet of pristine 3/4" birch so I will be adding to my workbench this weekend some clamping/jig grooves.

Good print but I told the slicer to use supports and assigned raft interface support W. Slicer did not apply any. I will print again and paint supports on instead. Pics are before cleaning up. Is mostly hidden by charger. Bambu Matte Plum color.

Nice model, when I first got my printer/AMS I printed dessicant trays that used the OEM lid and I ended up breaking one and found out Bambu doesn’t sell replacements so I have been waiting for a decent model that was both tray and lid. I have seen the ones that slide or use funnels to fill. Not really my style. I used Overture PETG white for the main, Creality Bambu Green PETG for the logo, and support W for the tiny amount of raft interface which really almost could have just been PETG too as it was such a microscopic amount needed. Printed on smooth high temp plate.

Very nice model, earlier one I had only held 2. I think since I started this journey back in February this was the largest, longest print I have ever done. Used Polymaker CoPE filament in Olive Green and Bambu Support W for the raft interfaces on a smooth PEI plate. Pictures in printer are after I removed the supports. Printer handled non-supported angles with no issues, overall very happy with the results. Bought the CoPe filaments when they first came out, been very happy with the results. I use the .bblflmt profile that Polymaker supplies for this product.

See my previous post, I finished the second set of multi-board brackets, so unit is assembled and does hold both the new AMS2 Pro and the original AMS at the same time. This is temporary as I plan to put the second AMS2 Pro coming where the original AMS is. I did not yet drill the cross piece of PVC to be permanent yet as dimensions are different. I did buy #4 x 1/2" screws today and they are a perfect fit. Observations/suggestions: Make the 4 posts just a touch taller (1/4") or don't seat as deep in the top holes so the lid doesn't occasionally get hung up on the top sides from slight lateral movement. The AMS lid handle will still rest against the top cross PVC piece no problem. Refine the bottom two pieces by adding back holes for a bottom PVC cross piece. Will not interfere with the lid at all. I could also print the short post version bottom pieces, but I like that this version has the fins that fit up into the AMS sides. But an awesome model as is. Boost this maker.

Good print, first try separated from plate by fan and lifted up so that one got scrapped, then downloaded version on two plates. Might do again but in TPU. Printed the AMS2 Pro version as well but in TPU, feels like it seals better.

Printed great. Did not use TPU originally, pics are of PETG print. Did a TPU 95A HF version late last night. Still removing some strings. Should have separated onto two plates to keep that from happening.
