I started with 3D printing in 2018 with a MonoPrice Select Mini and quickly upgraded to an Ender 3. I tweaked the Ender for years: upgraded controller board, firmware, extruder, hotend, ABL (two kinds), etc. I learned a lot. I'm now printing with a Bambu Lab A1 (which I appreciate all the more because I recognize the superb attention to detail they put into it!) All the CAD work I do is done in FreeCAD, which is my first and only exposure to 3d cad. Most of the stuff I design has something to do with electronics projects and home improvement.
