supports fail in top slots on most of my prints of this. this is going to be a mess and those slots are going to be super rough.

Despite some minor issues I encountered originally, this has turned out to be a useful print.
Only major issues I saw, the bottom pieces weren’t labeled so I ended up attaching the top to the bottom incorrectly (I hadn’t noticed the screw holes that were supposed to be on the back). also some of the spots where the wedges go in to, didn’t have supports so the loose filament would get in the way. I had to dig some of it out.
Thanks designing this, it’s been working great once I reassembled it.

ok so I scaled this down way small just to see if I could do it. came out pretty good!

This model printed well and was a great starting point to get the louvre size that I needed. If you include the dimensions of the default print I’ll upload my profile and do the same.
I did use PLA for this but plan on using PETG when Amazon delivers it tomorrow. Thanks again!

Little difficult to connect each side at first, but once you turn it in and out a couple times it loosens up.

This is the third spool desiccant holder I’ve tried. I’ve printed these multiple times now. They’re great. I printed using Creality CR-PETG so they can stay in my spools when in the AMS 2 (so hopefully they’ll withstand the temps when the dryer feature is available with my p1S)

the supports get caught in the teeth. will need some tools to properly “floss” them

Didn’t like how these didn’t want to stay in the spool. it’s also really easy to over fill and not be able to close them. Still a good print if it fills your needs. I went a different route
