We are a family of Makers. I am a retired EE from Purdue, love DIY, SciFi, and Tech. My 1st printer is a X1 Carbon. Not quite a Star Trek replicator, yet! I have added an A1 Mini and a Creality K2 Plus to my build table. Opposite ends of the build size spectrum. My newest addition is the FANTASTIC H2C! Wahoo!

A fair approximation to the outrageous "Toxic Death" paint job given to YF-117 #781 during the process of being totally stripped and modified inside and out before its final black finish at the National Museum of the United States Air Force, located at Wright Patterson AFB. Great model. Thank you.

Excellent model and print profile. I did switch to a 0.12mm High Quality preset to smooth the layer transitions. It printed great and flat. Didn't require the wingtip pieces. The wingtip seam is invisible. It fit that well! I printed twice switching out Ash Gray for Light Gray to get better highlights on the painted features and name tag. I also tried a Sunlu clear PLA for the canopy, which looks really good vs the black. I originally thought the painted features were bleeding through and increased the Top Shell Layers to compensate. I later realized that the bleed thru was really voids when the painted layer lines formed corners. I haven't figured out how to correct that, yet. One positive on that increase is the depth of the black color! In any case, extremely happy with the build and the addition to my Jet Farm!

Great model! I printed it at 0.12mm layer height for smoother wing surfaces. Turned out great. My only issue with the print profile was removing the supports used on the wing chines at the engine inlets. I had to chip away at it with an exacto knife and it still looks pretty bad!?!? At least it is under the model on display.

I merged the parts in Studio and scaled Z-size to 30.00mm. It is difficult to see from the photos, but the AMS rubber feet now contact the glass top and at the sides of the H2C. The AMS assembly stays put no matter how violent the printer gets! They are still a perfect fit into the AMS and the printer side-to-side! Awesome design! Many thanks.

Best Y-splitter! Better than even the commercial splitters with tube fittings and such. Reverse threading locks in the PTFE tubes to the splitter and the gentle Y-junction makes for very smooth, friction less feeding! Wish I had found it sooner instead of wasting money on purchased ones, many that didn't work or caused jams!?!?
