This is a Pixar Inspired Figurine of my dog Athena who passed away in November 2025. I started this project months before and never got around to finishing it, but now I did so in memorium, and it came out excellent so I thought I would share it with makeworld for all the other pet-parents out there.

I recently set up an ASTM Push-Pull testing rig, and the Force gauge I purchased to mount on it was about 7mm off center, so I mocked up a spacer in OpenSCAD to put between the force gauge and the mounting bracket.
Since the geometry is simple and symmetrical, OpenSCAD allowed me to fine-tune it if needed, but I luckily got it right on the first try. Hopefully, the parametric design will be useful to some others out there, maybe even for completely different use cases.

these are one of those prints that you take off the bed, start looking over and playing with, and think to yourself "wow this is really well designed, this should be a retail product or something!" I mean it's just a clip but it's awesome, and you could tell a good deal of thought and precision went into its design!
Printed mine out of CoPE, so similar strength and flexibility to PETG like the designer p recommended, and it's working fantastic!
