Bio
I am currently a 3D hobbyist. I got into 3D printing when my daughter announced she was pregnant, and my first thoughts were of creating cool toys for the grandkids. I enjoy designing stuff to fix broken items around the house or finding a practical model online that helps with the printer, or around the house. It would be great to eventually be good enough to sell stuff online to make a little filament money, but we shall see.

I am still working through all the plates, but so far it is looking great. The only issue I have had is the ball bearing housing; the threads were so tight that it broke off when installing - I am in the process of reprinting the centre foot and the ball bearing housing (at 99% for x and y). Will update with photos when complete. The dome is still printing, so I will wait to see if adding that resolves my problem. Without the head, I can make it travel backwards just fine, going forwards the centre leg does not seem to glide/move, The side legs then move to a vertical position, and it does not move forward.

After I started this, I realised I had more shoes than I thought. Had to make the shelves 40mm wider for my shoes (and the rear braces) and added slots for the clips to be on the inside, but they came out great. any more shoes and I would need to secure this to the wall. I printer the larger shelves and rear braces on my H2C.

can be a little difficult to grab and hold the sock, but a great little addition to my growing tools list.

changed the hole size to fit larger magnets, but fits and works perfectly.

Had to file down the square hole on the final piece to get the "ribbon" to fit correctly, but it will be great watching their frustrated faces on Christmas Day 😬

Bit fiddly, and the parts in the lock section keep falling out. Served it's purpose.
