"We’ve all been there. You’re out in the world, you see something incredible, and you want to capture it—but you don’t have a tripod, and balancing your phone against a water bottle just isn't cutting it. What if any metal surface in your environment—a street sign, a fridge, a car, or a gym rack—could become your professional camera crew?"
Introducing my latest project: WAM Magnetic Bust. At first glance, it’s a sleek, artistic piece of design. But inside this bust lies a powerful secret: high-grade industrial magnets integrated directly into the core.
I designed this because I wanted a tool that felt less like a bulky piece of tech and more like an extension of my creativity. You don’t need to carry a heavy bag of gear anymore. You just snap this onto any ferrous metal surface, and it locks on with a force that’s both secure and incredibly stable."
"The biggest enemy of a great shot is vibration. Traditional handheld footage can be shaky and distracting. But when you use this bust, you’re utilizing the literal weight and stability of the architecture around you. Whether you’re filming a time-lapse of a sunset from a balcony railing or recording your form at the gym, the surface provides the anchor, and the bust provides the angle."
"What makes this unique is the 'snap-and-go' philosophy. There are no screws to tighten or legs to extend. It’s lightweight enough to keep in your jacket pocket, yet strong enough to hold your device steady for hours. And because it’s a bust, it looks great on your desk when you aren't using it. It’s functional art that solves a real-world problem for creators, vloggers, and travelers alike."
"I’ve spent months refining the internal magnetic housing to ensure it’s perfectly balanced. Now, I’m ready to bring this to the community. By supporting this project, you aren’t just getting a mount; you’re helping me refine a new way of looking at mobile cinematography. Let’s turn the world into our studio. Check out the project details below, and let’s get filming."
