How do people learn to make such cool prints?? Like seriously

I have experience with CAD, through Fusion360 and SolidWorks. But no tutorial teaches you how to make all these cool mechanisms or multi-colored prints. How do people learn to make such wild contracptions and assemblies. I'm asking for a friend please.
I want to improve my skills and would love any resources so I can learn or possibly a mentor who has experience in making complex mechanisms or assemblies.
