Designer and maker from Sweden. I create parametric planters and pots for 3D printing - exploring how geometry, texture, and form can turn a simple pot into something special. I'm building Potforge Studio (potforge.com), a browser-based tool that lets anyone design their own unique 3D-printable planters. Choose a shape, add textures, tweak modifiers, and export ready-to-print files. No CAD experience needed. Currently printing on a Bambu Lab P1S. All my designs are original and tested with verified print profiles. Follow for new planter designs and updates on the Potforge Studio launch!

I made a comic book for my 3D prints and I think I went a bit overboard 😅 Meet Ember, Frost, and Clover; three dragon hatchlings that print in white so kids can paint them however they want. Each one comes with a matching textured egg shell (stone, spiral, and cloud textures made with my tool in progress Potforge). The idea is simple: print the dragons, read the story, grab some markers, and bring them to life. Every kid's version will look different, and that's kind of the whole point. I wrote and made a 4-page comic to go with the set. It tells the story of how the three hatched in the Whispering Woods and discovered their powers. The last page ties it all together with a "print & paint your own" call to action. PDF is attached in the model, if you want to check it out! This is my entry for the Pieksekisten Design Contest. The eggs were generated with Potforge, a custom 3D pot/vessel generator I've been building. It's still in beta but it handled the egg textures really well. More on that soon.#Pieksekisten #Hostedbyu #Contests(Edited)

Make art with your filament waste!!! The Pollock Planter: inner pot, a transparent vase-mode outer shell, and a lid. Stuff your filament poop in the gap. Instant abstract art. Jackson Pollock would be "proud". Every single one looks different depending on your waste pile. Parts were designed in Potforge Studio, a browser-based parametric pot designer I've been building. I little bit before vote is over, but want to give some time for you to print it before easter :) I have now uploaded the print profile for the honeycomb texture: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2587465-easter-cracked-egg-planter-collection#profileId-2880428
#Easter2026 #Easter Contest #Contests #Planter #Bowl #Easter I have made a easter planter pot collection, using my parametric software I spent way to much making. But now when I have created it, it only takes me about 30 seconds to make new planter pots for the easter collection. Tell me what you want me to upload next!

5 Parametric Planters - Designed using Algorithm
5 Parametric Planters - Designed using Algorithm
I've been building a parametric pot design tool where every curve, rib, and surface pattern is generated from math. Where you pick a base shape - cylinder, polygon, or star - then stack modifiers like twist, bulge, and taper. Add a texture, set your dimensions, and the geometry rebuilds in real-time. No sculpting, no manual CAD work. Just parameters. Here are the first five designs I've released, and uploaded. Every one was printed on a P1S with Bambu PLA Matte - I have made sure that no supports needed for any of them from the software.Sphere — Ribbed Bulge PotBulge modifier + vertical ribs + horizontal bands. The rounded profile and fine texture give it a handmade pottery feel - people who see this one in person always assume it's ceramic until they pick it up.PLA Matte Caramel · 98 × 161 mm · ~9h · 0.20mm / 15% / 2 walls🔗 Download Sphere PlanterCyclone — Hexagonal Spiral Rib PotHexagonal base with spiral ribs wrapping the full surface. The ribs create a flowing rotational pattern that catches light differently from every angle.PLA Matte Dark Green · 70 × 180 mm · ~7h · 0.20mm / 15% / 2 walls🔗 Download Cyclone PlanterCrater — Star Pot with Fuzzy SkinStar-shaped cross-section with a fuzzy skin finish that gives it a raw, volcanic texture. The sharp star valleys combined with the rough surface make it feel geological - like it was formed, not printed.PLA Matte Ash Gray · 100 × 206 mm · ~8h · 0.20mm / 15% / 2 walls🔗 Download Crater PlanterVortex — Twisted Hex Pot with Vertical RibsSix-sided base that rotates from bottom to top, with vertical ribs following the twist. The dark chocolate matte finish turns the ribs into shadow lines - like carved wood.PLA Matte Dark Chocolate · 80 × 114 mm · ~5h · 0.20mm / 15% / 2 walls🔗 Download Vortex PlanterHelix — Twisted Star PotPure geometry, no texture. A star cross-section that twists dramatically as it rises, carving deep spiral channels into the surface. Sometimes the shape itself is the texture.PLA Matte Dark Green · 94 × 162 mm · ~6.5h · 0.20mm / 15% / 2 walls🔗 Download Helix PlanterPrinting NotesAll five share the same settings: 0.20mm layers, 15% infill, 2 walls, no supports. PLA Matte hides layer lines and makes textures look intentional rather than printed. None of these have drainage holes - they work as decorative cover pots for standard nursery inserts. The tool itself would let you add drainage holes and saucer, but for the plants I am using these for I wanted without saucer. Let me know if you want me to upload thoose options for any of the pots. The Full FamilyHere's some of what I've printed so far from the parametric generator, more every day. Five are uploaded (the ones above), but there are plenty more sitting on the shelf. Which brings me to...What Should I Upload Next?I want to hear what you're most interested in. Take a look at the family photo and drop a letter (or a few!) in the comments:A) Brown ribbed cylinder with matching saucer - classic round pot with vertical ribs and a plate B) Gray square pot with organic stone texture - small cube with a Voronoi crackle surface C) Dark blue tapered cylinder with stone texture - tall, dramatic, deep blue with an organic crackle finish D) Brown ribbed cylinder with caramel spiral-cut saucer - round pot paired with a diagonal-cut wrap plate E) White ribbed cylinder with gray stone-textured saucer - clean white pot with a contrasting textured plate F) Dark blue hexagonal bulge with honeycomb texture - wide hex shape with a honeycomb surface pattern G) Gray cylinder with diamond crosshatch texture - round pot with X-pattern grooves H) 💬 Something I haven't made yet - describe your dream planter in the comments. What shape, what texture, what size? I can generate new combinations with the parametric engine, so if you have an idea for something you've never seen as a printable planter, I'd love to hear it. The most requested designs get uploaded first! If you print any of these five, I'd love to see your results — drop a photo in the comments or tag me.— @Potforge

Really cool design, added colors to the texture, pops the details!

My second upload - a twisted star planter with fuzzy skin texture. The 5-point star cross-section combined with a bulge modifier and fuzzy skin contour gives it this wild, almost hand-sculpted ceramic look. Printed in Bambu PLA Matte Ash Gray on a P1S, no supports needed. It's a bigger print (~8 hours) but the result is worth it. Designed with Potforge Studio (potforge.com), a browser-based pot designer I'm building. More planters coming - follow @Potforge for updates!

Just uploaded my first design - a compact hexagonal planter with spiral rib texture, printed in Bambu PLA Matte Dark Green. The combination of the geometric hex shape with organic spiral ribs creates really satisfying shadow play. Easy print, no supports, about 7 hours on a P1S. I designed this using my own tool, Potforge Studio (potforge.com), which I'm building as a browser-based pot designer. More designs coming soon - follow along if you're into planters!
