I love designing and engineering simple fixes for common, every day issues. Would it be less complicated to just spend 50 bucks and save the time and headache of test fitting, testing operations, and just having the project done? Absolutely. But where's the fun in that? (ignore my wife yelling in the background about the fun being in having things that work now and not in four months.)
