I discovered 3D printing in 2012, this construction of parts was magical. My first machine was a Solidoodle 3. I was limited in using this machine due to lack of time and poor drawing skills. Today, I am retired and I am investing in learning the 3D software FreeCad 0.21.1. I also bought a new, much more efficient printer, an A1 with AMS. 3D is really ideal for manufacturing or repairing broken parts or mechanisms to extend their lifespan. That's what I like :) about this great concept.
