New Heavy Duty Safety Handle! Getting the kids up into the bunks of our travel trailer has always been a bit of a scramble, so I designed this Heavy-Duty Safety Grab Handle to make it safer and easier (also I didn't want to go to the store). While I originally modeled it for the RV, it’s robust enough for outdoor play structures, heavy shed doors, or wooden gates. The Details: Beefy Design: Engineered with thick walls and a reinforced arch for serious load-bearing strength. Secure Grip: Added textured ridges along the inside curve so little hands (and adult ones) won't slip. Dimensions: 113mm handle opening with flush-mount flanges and countersunk screw holes for a clean, flush install. Printing Tips: If you're putting this in a camper or outdoors, I highly recommend using PETG (what I tested), ASA, or Polycarbonate to handle the summer heat. Most importantly, make sure you print it laying flat on its side so the layer lines run lengthwise—this gives it the maximum tensile strength needed for pulling. The community is helping me improve our Mini Pet Carrier Playset! Occasionally the loose parts inside would block the latch from opening. I upgraded the latch, so this can't happen anymore. Thank you to the community for the feedback. If you already have one printed, you won't be able to get the latch out, or if you do, your are far better at dismantling that me!
