I love seeing the reactions of children when they carefully open the egg and discover the sleeping baby platypus hidden inside.

🥚🦎 Animal Egg – Baby Gecko
As a designer, I love creating models that are more than just prints. I want them to feel like a small experience.
The idea behind this Baby Gecko Egg was simple: bring back the excitement of discovering something hidden. At first, it looks like an ordinary egg. But inside, a sleeping baby gecko is waiting to be found.
After printing, the shell can be carefully cracked open at the designated spot, creating a fun hatching moment. Watching the little gecko emerge makes the model feel more like a surprise toy than a regular 3D print.
The gecko was designed with a cute sleeping expression, soft shapes, and versions for 1, 2, and 3 color printing, so everyone can choose their favorite style.
My goal was to create something that sparks curiosity, encourages interaction, and brings a smile when the surprise is finally revealed. 😊
