fun build but the bambu labs 030 motors are just too slow and weak. I installed two rc car 030 motors from Amazon, 88Turn motors but reused the bambu labs pinion gears and the jeep now rips! it can do wheelies and get it to stand up on the back wheels all on carpet. for anyone on the fence, try the 88T 030 motors you won't be disappointed! great model and love how it demonstrated 4wd, shocks, and the differentials!

It was a challenging build but it's one hell of a beast! I used the BBL blue grey as the main color.

Great model! Iove the actual suspension it has! I used less support on the body and a .2mm nozzle to print the body shell. Very happy with the thinner line width settings of the .2 nozzle.

The print came out great! only issue I had was with the steering linkage at times the 180° servo would seem to hit its limit or get blocked by something and keep clicking, but some fidgeting with it freed it all up. I also wired in an extension harness to operate the tail lights.

Great and simple idea fun for everyone to do! I too also thought I missed a terminal plug at first but I didn't realize the light only stays on during an active print.

Finally a case for my Pinecil solder iron, and a nice one too! This printed very well...I was too impatient to wait for shipping and used Duramic PLA+ for the outer shell of the case instead of PETG, will see how it holds up but I don't foresee any issues. If you have a Pinecil, you need this case! I used counter sunk M3 screws for the hinges and clamps since #1 that's all I had and #2 I think they look better sitting flush. I have a set of brass 3D print smoothing/finishing tip inserts on order, would love to see a remix to hold them if possible. Just a friendly tip, the instructions should be updated though...since you need a QTY of 6 - M3 x 20 screws (2 for hinges and 4 for the clamps) and Qty 1 each M3 x 16 screw & nut and QTY 1 - 608 bearing - all for the hot solder iron holder.

I absolutely love this design! All parts printed perfectly minus some minor warpage but thats to be expected sometimes with Bambu Labs PETG HF at zip zap speed. I have an X1C about 1 month old and as another user pointed out, on the side with the AP board there is now a shield covering those boards up. The retaining clip therefore cannot be used on that side. My solution was to just use a big binder clip, and I had the perfect size that fit in 100% snug! Love this design for printing soft 90A TPU. I have since upgraded to use the DK Riser for added lighting though, has anyone come up with a way or different clip/model remix to use this with a riser instead of the factory printer housing setup? Would love to see any ideas for how to use with the DK riser or any riser.
