Still new to 3d printing. First print was March 10, 2025. CAD software seems to be hard to use if Blender is any indication. Got the 3D printer mainly for making gaming content. floor tiles, mini, etc.. I like ice fishing and hunting. And most important, Han Solo shot first !!

the large egg printed excellent and the threads were perfect
well done

printed the small eggs and they went together reasonably well. some needed some convincing and opening and closing a bunch of times helped
not sure if these are just scaled down as I didn’t look closely, but having more defined threading on the smaller eggs would be nice as my kids are having an issue opening them
the scales on the egg line up well when tight, just a little harder to open
great model. thanks for sharing

so far so it is building quite nicely
had an issue with a number and it cause a couple of others to move. I went and paused and pulled the bad ones off and went to choose skip and Bambu said it could not due to amount of objects
this is not an issue with the print so much as an issue with the software
I would like to make a suggestion/recomendation
for the covers that have the skills on it. I know there is a build you made that we can customize it. I would like the option to be able to insert a custom tab(s) and it would make the skills cover more versatile instead of potentially needing to print several skill cover plates if something changes.
just a thought
again I think this is very well thought out and engineered.
I will add more pictures as I finish the build. I kinda have to wait to get the other door and the bottom piece as I thought I had a second spool and realized I used it up a while ago
thanks for sharing

was not really sure what to expect. it fits the army paints great and as discription says, does not fit Vallejo paints. currently only have it base coated with white. Will throw the speed paint on once dry

well I finally entered a contest. I entered the old magic one. I'm a bit late to join so not sure how the contests really work. here is a link to my model. I'm quite happy with it. not sure how it stands up to the rest of the models since i'm a bit prejudiced

my daughter said she needed some teeth printed for a school project. the are using a styrofoam manikin head. they cut a spot for the mouth
they didn’t want it with the gums making this easier. they didn’t want all the teeth loose, so I added some cubes and sized them down
I made top right, top left, bottom right, bottom left as sets so they could adjust as needed
i obviously sized this down. I sized them down to about 25%. just kinda a guess without actually measuring for more accuracy.
I think they look great. I will get her to take a picture of the teeth in place
I printed on X1C with .4mm nozzle using Bambu Basic Ivory

came out well. very quick print. no issues at all

so far the first thing I have printed is one of the containers
it printed well. I did a bit of filing to smooth the top a tad. likely due to the filament Bambu Silk+ Rose Gold.
for the container I would have liked something to hold the cards from moving. that being said. it’s an ingenious way to keep the size of the container as small as possable and still have the cards with it

nice print. I decreased the size to use for a game. the legs were a bit weak because of that. used crazy glue to reattach. no fault of the model.
it might have been better to make the bottom solid and onto the print plate. it was a bit messy under the skulls
printed this with Bambu Matte Ash Grey on a .4mm nozzle with .08mm layer height

I did print this quite a bit smaller than original.
due to the size, the swords around the top came out quite fuzzy and failed. that is 100% due to the print size and not the model
I think with a resin printer it would have no issue with the smaller size
printed with Bambu matte ash grey

this printed quite well. I changed the size quite a bit. I made the whole thing smaller.
Because I could adjust the blade from the hilt I made it thicker to help with strength.
I made the insert longer to make it visible inside the handle
blade I did in Bambu Ash Grey
Handle I did with Bambu Metalic Green
the insert I did in Bambu silver

I printed this significantly smaller than the original
I had to make some edits but it came out well
I printed this with .4mm nozzle with .08mm layer height on Bambu Matte Ash Grey

I only printed the knight and I made it quite a bit smaller than optimal for high detail. I was hoping this would be still good enough as a replacement for some game pieces
the base is about 8mm and height about 17mm
printed this with Bambu matte Ash Grey using .4mm nozzle with .08mm layer heights

also some people are using a rub on paint/wax? never seen that stuff before. I would have just done a dry brush and layering

printed without an issue
only problem is lining the egg up with duel filament is misaligned. when you put the egg on before licking it, the colour matches. when you lock it the colour is out of alignment. I going to print a couple to see what the best alignment is
this is overall a nice model. thanks for sharing it

#Questions I'm having issues with mesh boolean. With the update I can't seem to get this to work. I have had issues in the past but sometimes "fixing" the model worked. I can have simple shapes work but more complex ones I have made are no longer working. is there a workaround? is this a known bug or issue? i'm also seemingly having an issue importing some of the objects into tinkercad. just says there is an error.(Edited)

#Questions I have discovered that I'm out of filament spools. There looks to be quite a bit of options. most have a lot of positive reviews. Is anyone especially happy with one over another that has printed more than one type?
I'm also kinda wanting something that is closer to the original ones cause I have a pile of clips for the spool that inset into the original holes and I like consistency.(Edited)
