what could I do to improve this model? not pictured: a top that locks and hides everything except the charger status. I made this to keep batteries away from kids in the house.(Edited)

Built this because my newborn is about to crawl and loose batteries are spicy little cylinders of regret. This keeps batteries out of tiny goblin hands. It holds an XTAR VX4 charger, has a working door, uses raw 1.75mm filament as a hing pin. I designed this to make sure it could hold any size cylinder for insertion and removal WITHOUT HARMING THE CYLINDER.
