Cool design, but I wish the tolerances were a little tighter so it wouldnt rattle as much

Works like a charm, going to keep a few of these things around. It Mars up a bit in petg, maybe a stronger material would be better for sustained use.

Great improvement from the sharky, I printed the bearing version, but I have yet to get any.
I find the handle a bit awkward to screw in, and good luck getting it off. I ended up marring up the petg with a tool to get it on, the tolerances for the threads are super tight.
furthermore, I almost broke my pla shell where the release seats onto, just from taking it on and off messing with the plastic bearings. Seems this is a weak point. I ended up keeping the bearings out because the spool spins a lot freer.
I shall see how everything performs in comparison to the Sharky, hopefully it won't tangle as much. Excited to test it out! So far one of my favorite prints.

Couple of issues, spool gets tangled easily and could benefit from a bearing, I think it needs a pretty heavy weight otherwise. However, this is a genuinely genius design either way. I also wish there was a right handed version I could easily just toss the line with, without my hand stopping the spool.

works great on regular 550 paracord, very tight fit but great for Ranger beads. Also works decent as a toggle on shock cord. New to 3d printing, but I think the maybe the brim isn't necessary for the print?
