This MakerLab AI Scanner is pretty cool! I took a video of a banana and printed the 3D reconstruction!

Check out this simple door mounted towel hook! It screws into the top of a door for a clean, secure fit with no sliding and is not visible from the backside like typical over the door hooks. Perfect for apartments and small spaces.

I needed to raise my desk slightly so that I could slide my chair under it, so I designed and 3D printed these simple desk risers.

#Questions A while ago I bought a roll of Bambu Lab PLA Glow filament. I have printed with it using the 0.4mm Stainless Steel nozzle that came with my A1 Mini. I went to print with it today on Bambu Handy and it said I should be using a Hardened Steel nozzle. Did Bambu Lab recently make this change? Is it bad to use a Stainless Steel nozzle with Bambu Lab PLA Glow filament? If I buy a Hardened Steel nozzle, is there any reason to switch back to the Stainless Steel nozzle for other filaments?

#Questions #Openscad I designed a simple model in Fusion and I want to make it customizable in Makerworld by adding editable text. I’ve never used OpenSCAD before, so I’m not sure how to set this up. Specifically, I’d like to: -Import my Fusion 360 model into OpenSCAD. -Add text that users can edit, including font, size, and number of lines. -Optionally have text on both sides of the model. Could someone give guidance or a simple example of how to structure this in OpenSCAD so it works with Makerworld? Is there a way to do this without fully learning OpenSCAD?

I needed extra clearance to hang a curtain rod over my blinds, so I designed and 3D printed a custom offset piece that fits perfectly behind them. It’s a small, simple fix, but a great reminder of how useful 3D printing can be for solving everyday problems.
