I learned about Count Binface today, running as the only candidate opposing Nigel Farage in the Clacton by-election. This left me in just the right combination of amused and bored that I had to make a 3D model, print it out, and share it with you all.

I made a 2026 F1 Calendar jigsaw puzzle, because... why not? I have a jigsaw puzzle maker, and it was a nice challenge to write some software to arrange the elements of an F1 calendar, and chop it up into jigsaw puzzle pieces!

My old Go piece container broke (it was just a cardboard box) Rather than design a new one with CAD, like a sane person would, I worked the mathematics for the corner/curve equations of a Yin-Yang symbol, factoring circle and hole radii, edge smoothing, and gaps for the lid and between the two halves. I put the equations into Python to generate STLs, so I could try different measurements until I was perfectly satisfied, and got a snug, perfectly sized box for all my Go pieces.
