Started with the scaled version of the agent beacon on the left and tried to visualise where each of the components was going to go but I just couldn’t with all those pieces laying flat. So I ended up making a riser for the LED ring to sit flush orange ring, tried to be compact and hid the battery under the riser and gave it a connection point. Then I created the port for the charging module which was too loose on the first try but the second attempt it sits in there nice and tight. Just going to measure the other components and mess around with their placement and see what I can come up with. Happy with the project so far but I can’t start wiring everything together properly until I know where everything is going so I know how long each wire needs to be 😂 As soon as I know where all the pieces are going I’m going to create the wiring diagram and BOM. #Comingsoon #Newmodel #Sharing Makes #Milestone #Videogames #project

Hello MakerWorld community! This is NB_Maker, an IT student based in Milan with passion for 3D printing, technology, and, above all, videogames and retrogaming. Since 2017 I’ve been building my small but growing collection of consoles and games, and since I wanted to keep it more organized and clean, I started working on some simple projects, the first of which I’m excited to share with you today: Continuity Stands. What are Continuity Stands? As I wrote in each model description, Continuity Stands is a series of minimal, 3D-printed stands designed to hold different portable consoles. I aimed to create a unified collection of stands with the same design, viewing angle, and aesthetic, instead of having to use mismatched, often low-quality stands I found online on different sites. The design of my stands is absolutely simple: they use clean geometric shapes like triangles and rectangles, making them minimal, functional, and easy to print without wasting material. They also offer great compatibility across multiple handheld consoles while keeping a consistent look for any collection. Why choose Continuity? I created Continuity Stands because I felt there was a gap: nobody had made a large set of stands with the same design for so many different consoles. I wanted to fix that, both for myself and for other collectors who value organization and uniformity for their collections. By choosing Continuity Stands, you choose to support a novice maker who is trying to give a DIY solution for the gap in the console stands market.
