Hi I would like to share with you my remix of Cooper's Creations Improved Crystal Dragon. I hope you will like it. Changes: -Head and tail were little bit to big for my taste. Scaled them down to 80%. Each next link is larger by 4% steps, back to 100%. -Added little chamfer to the bottom of the leg links for a little bit better mobility. -Positioned the body so that the links should not touch and be infused together when printing. -Removed evenly about 0.2mm from the bottom the model for even smooth printing surface. I want to start tabletop gaming with my family and thought it would be a nice idea to reuse an old TV by laying it flat on the table for maps and games. While searching for a solution, I found an existing VESA lay-flat mount that already worked really well for this. Simple, solid, and exactly what I was looking for. When reading through the comments, I noticed someone had asked about adding cord wraps, but the question never got answered. Since I needed that anyway, I decided to remix the model and add the feature myself: • four small pillars to wrap and store cables • a simple cord clip so the cable ends don’t hang around • the rest of the design stays close to the original Now the TV is easier to set up and easier to store without loose cables everywhere. Thanks to the original creator for the great base model — this remix is just a small, practical improvement based on a real use case. #Questions I see that there are many different makes of the Dummy 13 which I have printed a few and they're great! I was wondering if anyone is willing to work with me in doing a version that has a wingsuit? If you're not familiar with wing suiting it a sport where you skydive dive and/or BASE jump with a wingsuit and can get amazing glide and very long flights. I have over 500 wingsuit jumps myself and thought it would be amazing if one of these has a wingsuit version! However I am not familiar enough with CAD or creating 3D models well enough to do so. I am a complete newbie to the actual creating from zero. I can post some images if anyone is interested in seeing what one looks like and if anyone is interested in giving me a hand. 🧊 My First #remix: Smart WLED #Lamp Base for Frozen Ice Shards Hey everyone! 👋This is my first uploaded remix here on MakerWorld – I designed a smart base for the awesome Frozen Ice Shards Lampshade model. It’s powered by WLED running on ESP8266 and works with WS2812B or SK6812 LED strips. The goal was to make a clean, easy-to-assemble smart RGB lamp that looks great on a desk or shelf. I’m also working on a public AliExpress wishlist with the exact components I used — I’ll update the model soon once I figure out how to hide my real name. 😅 - so you can build the exact same setup hassle-free.
