Not wanting to wait for it to snap, I designed a support. It is a bit more complex than existing designs, but I wanted a slim profile. To bring my concept to life, I received the "Wireless Inductive DIY" kit along with all the necessary materials from MakerWorld. My idea was to integrate the kit into a sort of metal detector and make small gemstones light up with LEDs whenever they were approached. A major challenge was fitting all the components, especially the electronics, together precisely; this required more prototypes than originally planned. I am getting sick of the a1 mini users commenting on models for an "a1 mini version" of almost every model I look at so here's some advise to those with a1 minis who have an issue with your build volume. First off, you should have gotten an A1, but it's fine you didn't. now for the real advise, I suggest if it is a nonfunctional part you should scale it down to fit your build volume, this would be things without any moving parts or single part prints. If the model is functional and has moving parts, I suggest learning the cutting tool in bambu studio, it will be your best friend for cutting those large models into smaller pieces that can be glued together later. last, just continue looking for a different model that serves the same purpose, but is smaller. Most functional parts that can't be split are that size for a reason, find an alternative method to printing something with the same function or design that function yourself and help other a1 mini users. Most of us with larger printers are bot going to take the time to cut up a model for you. I'm not trying to be rude, but we design models for our machines because we know their capabilities, we don't always design to fit your parameters. I designed this minimalist key holder with a built-in shelf to make everyday organisation a bit cleaner and easier. I wanted something simple that actually gets used—no bulky designs or unnecessary parts. Just a small shelf for things like your phone, wallet, or earbuds, and a few pegs underneath to keep keys easy to grab when you’re heading out. The striped backing was added to give it a bit more personality while also making the structure stronger. It’s subtle, but it helps it stand out compared to plain designs. It’s compact enough to fit in an entryway, bedroom, or even next to a desk without taking up much space, and it keeps everything you need in one spot instead of scattered around. I’m trying to focus more on clean, functional designs like this, so feedback would be really helpful. I created a nice model for mounting the ams hub on the back of the A1 and mini with the connectors facing right, making it easy to disassemble and reassemble. It uses the plate that came with the printer to attach the spool and stays hidden behind the upright. It's attached to a fixed part of the printer so as not to create collisions or vibrations.
