Welp, it's been quite a last couple of months! Just wanted to give yall an update on how it's been going. To start, I've reached 115 followers! That's amazing for me! 2nd, @MakerWorld seems to like #Makermeet! Quite a surprise to wake up to this. They also responded to my comment with a couple of ideas on some users post saying "Got it!" Cannot find that right now lol. Then, I am planning to release a model by Nov. 15. Keep your 👀 peeled for that one! Then, it is my birthday in 10 days! I'm turning __!! Finally, wanted to shout out @CRASH_3D for being awesome and helping out with Makermeet ideas! And to prove that you made it down here, comment a model idea! Thanks, @DoggoDude! Oh, and I'm thinking of fully changing my handle to DoggoDude!

so this #Makermeet thing sound really cool, but i have some questions 1) Where would it be? would it be multiple locations, or one big one? 2) Would it only be for designers? because i cant make stuff (yet) and would still be interested. 3) would it be put on by @MakerWorld? or users?

what are y’all thoughts on the #Makermeet? I think it’ll be really fun! I do think it would have to be based in a central location in the US, and I think it would help a lot if @MakerWorld could ask users (anonymously) in which state do they live and then pick a central location that also accommodates the most populated state. of course not everyone lives in the US so I think they would have to do multiple but personally I think they should only do 2-4 across the US and Asia/China. Would there be an age limit for makers? I think you would have to apply if you wanted to be a “maker” and then they would confirm or deny your ability to be a maker and then anyone who is on make a world who doesn’t want to apply can still go no matter their age… there should definitely be a fee like any other convention – unless it was organized by us and not makerworld. either way I think there should also be mw employees so we can ask them questions?

What’s up guys! Since I received so much support from everyone, especially @CRASH_3D, I wanted to start a hashtag! I feel that meeting other makers would help the @MakerWorld community thrive! From meeting new printers to experienced veterans of printing, a convention would support all of that! I would not like this hashtag to be spammed about leaderboard placement and/or other meaningless stuff. Instead, I ask that you make meaningful ideas and suggestions to Makerworld! One of yall suggested that they sell printers/filament/merch! this sounds awesome, and thats exactly what I would like to see! There are so many awesome creators just waiting to be met! So without further ado, I bring #MakerMeet! Thanks to all for reading, and lets grow together!

ok so ive heard some mixed opinions abt @MakerWorld /@BambuLab charging for tickets for #Makermeet, i think that they have to pay for it somehow and it could be somthing small, like $5-$10, but it still would help pay for some of it. what do you think? also if makerworld doesnt make it happen, what abt a zoom call? ik it would be chaotic, but it would be better than nothing!(Edited)

Ok I am totally on board with this #Makermeet thing, and i have a few ideas; 1)@MakerWorld needs to hear this. it sounds awesome and people want it. it could even be a potential profit, by charging admission and selling merch and the works. 2) Having a Zoom of some other video call option would be great for people who cant make it. 3) We shoukd definitaly have name tags with our user name, and our real name if peoplee feel so inclined 4) we could have a raffle for a printer! or maybe filement too! that would be awesome and if @MakerWorld doesnt fund it, we could charge for tickets to draw or like a go fund me or somthing. thx for reading!

Hey makers! 👋😄 If you haven't heard, @DoggoDude created the tag #Makermeet! It is a tag to highlight the idea of a convention where all of us Makers could... Meet! I am all for this idea and I think it would be incredibly fun to meet people from MakerWorld and talk about printing with them. @BambuLab and @MakerWorld could host it, and invite creators from everywhere to come and join in on the fun! @MakerWorld if you are gonna do the #Makermeet thing, please tell us and dont do what you did with bambu merch! we would want to know! also i think you could get some creatuve input from users if you included us in the process
