Hey guys !! I'm having a stringing issue and would appreciate some words of advice / possible solutions. I was printing a skull cat model, and unfortunately it's been consistently stringy and turning out poorly. The leg also printed badly, as seen in the pictures. I'm simply fixing the missing pieces with a 3D Printing Pen, unrelated. However some advice to prevent this would be nice. Thoughts? <3 #Help Center #Needhelp #I Need Help #Pleasehelp #Help Printing #Questions #Help a Newbie Out? #Helpcenter

#Questions #Helpcenter @MakerWorld I have a question. I have an alternative account which is @user_2212605514. It is not registered in MakerWorld and i use it merely for payments and no printers are bound on it, which means i don't boost farm, make duplicate models or do any inappropiate practices. I have recently gotten a gift card, which is bound to that account. I plan to keep bonding gift cards to that account. Is this allowed?

Finding Your Model Inspiration
Finding Your Model Inspiration
Throughout my first year on Makerworld, I have seen amazing things come to pass and not so great things. For example, one of the most common posts I see nowadays is that has kind of plagued Makerworld is “what should I design?”. Now, don't get me wrong, it's great to get public opinion on what to create. However, overusing this question can be quite degrading to the community. So, I've written this article to help with that! Let's go through 5 steps to start getting inspiration for your models on your own!* And remember, do not steal models, it doesn't help anybody, and it's just wrong. *  1. Exploring the Models tabStart by exploring the trending or featured sections of the model page. These highlight what’s enjoyed in the community right now, whether it’s seasonal decor, clever gadgets, or fan art. Ask yourself: What twist could I add to this idea?OrHow could I improve this?  2. Follow Creators You AdmireLet's face it, we all have creators we admire. And something can be said from getting inspiration from them as well! Look into their collections, remix their models, look at their design, and how they solve design challenges. Inspiration often comes from building on someone else's foundation with your own niche ideas!  3. Read Comments & Requests on the Community PageScroll through model pages and community posts. You’ll find people asking for tweaks. alternate versions, or entirely new ideas. These are perfect for inspiration. And trust me, if you can't find any today, don't worry, they'll pop up.  4. Explore topics you loveSearch by tags for the things you enjoy making, such as fidgets, video game items, useful decorations, etc. You may very well find things that Makerworld needs from a category, or on the contrary things you should stay away from, such as coasters because let's face it, there are way too many. Then, think of what you enjoy about that genre. Remember, no idea is too far flung!  5. Sketch Ideas Based on GapsAfter exploring, take note of what’s missing. Is there a tool holder for left-handed users? A themed decoration that hasn’t been done? A print-in-place toy with a new mechanism? Sketch rough concepts even if they’re messy. The goal is momentum, not perfection.  So, in conclusion, the most important thing to remember is that it's your model and your ideas, so even if other people may not immediately be warmed to the idea. Keep pressing on! And if it's not a hit model, take note. Maybe try something else but never give up no matter what you can do anything you put your mind to! I hope this was informative and helpful!

Hello! Has anyone by chance used both Elegoo Rapid PLA+ as well as UJOYBIO Hyper PLA+. UJOYBIO has a graph that shows that it's speed ranges from 300-500 mm/s while they claim that Elegoo's only prints up to 250 mm/s. However, Elegoo claims on Amazon that their Rapid PLA+ prints up to 600 mm/s. As a result of the discrepancy, I am not really sure if I trust the reviews on UJOYBIO's website (although I am sure Elegoo probably exaggerates, too). With this being said, can you confirm which is faster and which offers better print quality? We have been happy with Elegoo's rapid PLA+ in the past, but unfortunately, they don't have many different color options within that line. An added bonus is that upon first glance, the prices on UJOYBIO's website are much cheaper (although I haven't checked on their shipping policy). I would appreciate any input, even in regards to other brands that I haven't mentioned. I'm looking for something relatively affordable, fast, and of decent quality. Thank you for reading! #Questions #Helpcenter
