Almost ready for release.
I’m finishing the last tests on this new flip cover for the Bambu Lab H2 Series.
Designed to protect the display, keep the front area cleaner, and add a more finished look to the machine without changing the original style.
This one is already mounted on my H2C and I’m checking the final details before publishing.
If everything goes well, it should be online tomorrow.
Hope you like it

#H2S Has anyone tried adding a second auxiliary fan to Bambulab H2D/H2S? I was thinking of adding it to cover the entire build plate. Current set up doesn't cover far right side. Is it worth adding? Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated.

Bambu Lab H2S Laser Combo — One Month In
I’ve been using the Bambu Lab H2S Laser Combo for exactly one month now, and this isn’t a spec‑sheet review or a marketing recap — it’s just my real experience living with it day to day.I bought this myself, I use it regularly, and I went into it mostly just curious. I didn’t expect it to change how I make things as much as it has.How I Actually Think About ItI don’t really think of this as a 3D printer or a laser. In my head, it’s just a box.You put materials in one side… and finished things come out the other. That’s it.Once I stopped thinking about what the machine is and started thinking about what it lets me make, it clicked. And since then, I’ve been using it for stuff I genuinely didn’t expect.Using It (Software & Workflow)The laser itself is very easy to use. The software is clean, makes sense, and doesn’t fight you. There’s a short learning curve, but once you’re past that, it feels smooth and predictable. One feature I didn’t think I’d care about — but now rely on — is the bird’s‑eye camera. You can drop objects into the machine, see them live, and line everything up visually. From my testing, it’s accurate down to the millimeter, which honestly surprised me.What I’ve Made So FarI’ve already engraved and cut:CorkWoodPLAMetalPaperAnd this is where things got interesting.I started making random, useful things:Cork sealsSmall wooden “thank you” keychainsMetal dog tags for friendsStuff I never would’ve printed.I ended up liking the results enough that I actually started an Etsy shop, selling items made only on this machine:
👉 (CustomCrafted314 - Etsy)That alone should tell you how often this thing gets used.Safety (Done Right)This is one area where Bambu clearly didn’t cut corners. There are a lot of safety features, and the enclosed design makes the laser feel controlled and approachable instead of sketchy. You can’t see through the top glass panel — which is intentional for laser safety — and while part of me wishes I could watch the laser directly, I’d rather not trade safety for vibes. There’s also a physical E‑Stop button, which I honestly love. I’d recommend buying it even if you don’t plan on using the laser. If something ever sounds very wrong, you can just slam the button and instantly shut everything down. Way better than panic‑clicking through menus.VentilationVentilation is solid.Smoke and fumes get handled well, and what’s left behind is basically just the classic burnt‑wood smell. If you’ve ever laser‑cut wood before, you already know what I mean.Things I Really LikeVery easy to use once you learn the flowStrong focus on safetyBird’s‑eye camera that actually works (and is accurate)Not locked to proprietary materialsLets you work with way more than just plasticThe green glow from the laser panel (I don’t care — it’s cool)If you want to put your name, logo, or branding on almost anything, you usually can. Just place it in the machine and go.Things I Don’t LoveA few things genuinely bug me:The screen is plastic, and I really don’t like thatYou can’t see through the top glass panel (necessary, but still worth noting)There aren’t a ton of laser‑specific models on MakerWorld yetThat last point matters. If you don’t enjoy modeling or tweaking designs yourself, you might feel limited right now.Is It Worth the Extra Money?Honestly? It depends on what kind of maker you are.If you want to make more things and expand into new materials, then yes — I think it’s absolutely worth it.If you mainly love traditional 3D printing and don’t see yourself branching out, you might end up forgetting the laser exists once the novelty wears off.Final ThoughtsFor me, the H2S Laser Combo didn’t replace anything — it expanded what I can do.It quietly became one of those tools that you keep reaching for because it solves problems you didn’t even realize you had.If you’re thinking about getting one and have questions, feel free to ask. After a month of real use, I’ve got opinions — and I’m happy to share them.

I’ve received significant feedback that pulling fumes directly from the H-series chamber is a BAD idea (over-cooling or over-working the heater), but my initial testing suggests it’s a non-issue. Hopefully some of you will find it interesting:

Hello fellow makers! :)
Big news—I finally ordered my new H2S! 🎉 I’ve been watching everyone else pick up new printers and thought, “Okay, I need to join the party too.” I was planning on getting the regular H2S, but somehow I ended up grabbing the Full Laser Combo instead! :)
Really hoping this machine sticks with me for years so I can keep making cool stuff for you all. And seriously, thanks to everyone here who’s encouraged and supported me along the way. Huge shoutout to my friends @Caleb_Wride, @Romans1x16, @3DRIO, @Spectraforge, @DoggoDude, @GWDesigns, @GreyWolf14, @Rando101, @CRASH_3D, @The3dStudioCo., @TheLayerCo. @Pr1ntCraft, @CurlyFries1, @RidgeTurner, @R_24_3D, and so many more, also of course, @MakerWorld for making this all possible in the first place!(Edited)

#Questions #Bambulab #P2S #H2S #Buyingprinters
Hello Makerworld community!
I've been in the market lately for a new 3D printer (preferably by Bambu Labs) and would like to get a good enough machine, so I don't feel like I'm going to need another size/quality upgrade again in another year.
I can't decide which Bambu Lab printer would be better though, an H2S or a P2S?
I know both printers are pretty good, but is double the price for an H2S worth it for just the size, or is there some other features that is in the H2S and not in the P2S?
What kind of features are in the P2S that aren't in the H2S?
Is one printer faster than the other?
Does one printer have better print quality?
So, which Bambu printer should I upgrade to (from my current A1 Mini)?

Go Big or go home!
I maxed out the print volume of my all new H2D! Lithophane lamps of all planets and several moons of the solar system with a diameter of 295mm! Takes almost 1kg PLA and 4-5 days per print but it's absolutely worth it. You can use these as ceiling lights for an entire room!#Lithophane #Bambu H2D #H2C #H2D #H2S #Newmodel

Hey everyone,I recently expanded my original AMS HT DUO and turned it into the new AMS HT QUATTRO. With this setup, you can now stack up to four AMS HT units right next to the H2x series while keeping the overall footprint very small. The QUATTRO also includes simple integrated cable management (you’ll need 3 cable ties) to keep everything tidy. For installing the QUATTRO, you only need 6 rubber adhesive pads (Ø 10 mm).To simplify power routing, I also recommend using Y-cables to power two AMS HT units from one source.
Separately from that, I’ve updated my Adapter for H2x – 4in1 PTFE Hub. The new version allows you to connect up to eight AMS units to the H2x series. This adapter works on its own and does not require the pads or Y-cables mentioned above.

If you have feedback or ideas for improvements, I’d love to hear them!
