Hello everyone, welcome to take a look at the little gadget I made.

This is a hostile character from the game Honkai: Star Rail.

He is part of a series of three brothers with a model I previously released.

The link to that model is here:

This small project took a bit longer than expected.

Besides the fact that this model itself has more parts than before,

it's because the game 'Zero Area' has been released...

Boost Me (for free)

I made this series of three brothers just for myself, purely out of interest. I never expected it to be downloaded so many times after uploading it, so I compressed my game time and quickly finished this guy. Hope you like it!

Next, the last one in the series of three brothers,

the model's complexity and the number of parts should be even greater.

Besides, the spider's chassis is the same as the beetle's, at least for now,

so you only need to make the fist on top,

but the war dog doesn't have any parts that can be used in common, so it might take longer to make...

It's really not because I'm addicted to 'Zero Area'!

Speaking of which, since there are more parts, some people might not know how to assemble it,

so I made a simple assembly guide.

First, find these three parts: the thumb, the large black armor, and the largest disc. This disc is hollowed out.

Then you need to assemble them together as shown in the photo. Because I've already made openings on the thumb, it should fit together tightly.

This is how you turn game characters into 3D printed toys,

game modeling only needs to look good on the surface,

but 3D printing requires much more consideration...

The blue carapace and the black parts are assembled like this.

The black parts and the finger knuckle parts in the middle are assembled like this. There is a ninety-degree right angle there, so it is easy to align them.

Speaking of which, this thing seems to be a bomb in the game?

The fingers and knuckle parts are assembled like this, and they also have matching angles, so they should be easy to align.

Finally, just assemble the whole fist with the rotating base. It is mainly fixed by the horizontal and vertical cylinders. There isn't much contact area in front of the fingers.

Finally, I have included a picture of the painted model for your reference.

When making this model, I also thought about whether to make it movable.

But after looking at the original design, I felt like giving up.

Although it looks like the joint at the base of the fingers would be easy to make movable,

but look at the finger joint that is directly opposite, that is a whole cylinder!

To make the fingers movable in this shape, wouldn't that be going in the wrong direction!

Rather than making it movable, sticking to the original design is my current priority,

so this is still a static model...

Now two of the three brothers have arrived!

If the progress is good, the last war dog should be here soon!

I hope you like this model!
