Honkai: Star Rail - Automaton Soldier - Beetle (Parkins)

Hello everyone, thank you for checking out my little creation.

This is an enemy from the game Honkai: Star Rail.

I made this while waiting for the Sam action figure to print, so it's a side project.

During the process, I had many ideas.

I wanted to make it fully articulated, with perfect part separation!

The panel can be lowered, and the mechanical legs can move!

I even printed test parts to see if this was feasible.

However, I didn't want to repeat the mistakes I made with the Sam action figure.

Doing things that are far beyond my capabilities when I don't have the skills.

Although the test connectors can be joined together, they're not very strong, and at this scale, they wouldn't be able to support the main body.

Maybe I should consider using metal parts?

In short, I didn't put much effort into the articulation. After it was finished, I had more time and energy to polish and paint it.

Although it's a static display piece, I still had a lot of fun making it.
