Note:

Please allow the build plate to cool completely before removing parts to prevent warping of thin-walled components due to thermal shock, which may lead to insufficient clearance with the heated bed and subsequently malfunction.

Strongly recommended printingP1S Shovel/Ramp - MakerWorld, which can limit the lower end of the Z-axis cover to prevent deformation affecting the heated bed and print platform.

I have been using it since November 2023 without any issues. For nearly a year, I haven’t received any negative feedback from other users.

However, some users recently reported homing errors. This is suspected to be due to Bambu’s modification of the left-side lead screw design (I cannot confirm this without purchasing another machine). Please be aware of this possibility before printing and refrain from giving a low rating (please!).

Regarding Problem Resolution:

According to user “瞬间豹炸”: “If the manual leveling of the platform isn't tightened sufficiently, the platform can shift horizontally. Moving the platform to the right and then tightening the three leveling screws resolves this. If these three screws are fully tightened, the Z-axis cover will collide with the lead screw during homing.

Adjustment creates a small gap preventing contact

The above information is for your reference.

Introduction:

I own a P1S printer, and the lubricating oil on the lead screw often gets on my hands. I searched for some lead screw covers, but most are only compatible with the X1 series. Some might fit the P1S, but with certain drawbacks. Therefore, I designed this model.

Features:

1.Compatible with P1S. Works perfectly on my P1S. I do not own a P1P. If you use it on a P1P, please let me know if it's compatible.

2.Completely shields the front and sides of the lead screw, ensuring no lubricating oil can get on your hands.

3.Maintains a clearance of over 0.5mm from the print platform. After a year of use, no scraping has occurred.

4.The cover has been refined to avoid obstructing the camera.

5.I used four 8*3mm magnets. An STL model without pre-drilled holes is also provided, allowing for easy customization (e.g., using the built-in Windows 3D Builder) to accommodate your preferred magnets.

6.I printed the cover using PETG at 255°/80° in an enclosed environment; it has performed flawlessly for six months.

7.Support structures are required, but they are easy to remove.

8.I also designed a scoop to limit the lower end of the cover, ensuring it doesn’t deform and affect the print platform. You can find it here:https://makerworld.com/en/my/models/501791
