I sent this to MW today: @MakerWorld , you really need to fix the community. ASAP. NOBODY wants to see AI slop and crowfunding advertisements and nobody wants to see you "weekly roundup" on the MODELS page. They don't want to see crowfunding on the MODELS page. Guess what they want to see? MODELS. People are leaving, MW is dying, and the community turned into a playground where as it used to be a place for users to share tips, prints, or ask questions. Hello Everyone, As you all know, MakerWorld is dying. The community, the AI models, the fake users, unfair "justice". Well this is all going to end very soon, as I have taken matters into my own hands: I am going to make my own version of MakerWorld called #Creator Hub. It will include the majority of all MakerWorld functions, but the main ones are uploading and downloading models, a GOOD community, NO AI, DMing, and contests. There will be no file licenses. All models they can do whatever they want with as long as they attribute you. This includes selling, remixing, and distributing. There will be strict rules of what you can and can't do. (When I say that, I don't mean There will be like 100 rules, but the rules it will have will be enforced better.) This will be free for anyone to use, and I will get to work on it as soon as possible.
