Zagreb Cathedral Reimagined! 🏰
I turned drone photos of the cathedral (scaffolding and all!) into a 3D-printed model using AI.
Process: Drone → Gemini AI for restoration/stylization → Manga Art outlines → MakerLab Image-to-3D tool → Bambu Lab Slicer prep.
It's a fusion of tech and history! Printing now (24hrs on the A1) before professional painting. Stay tuned for the final result!

Super useful when you have the top AMS mount, and cant put the spool holder on the top.
Printed easily without supports.

Something the author did not think about!
In addition to this design, I was searching for a model that would help with a quick plate alignment.
All the existing models on the right side are flawed because the nozzle collides with the part when the "Filament Tangle Detection" is on (https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/a1-mini/manual/nozzle-warp-detection).
However, this design is a solution since there is ** nothing on the sides! **
So to repurpose it for this use case, I just mirrored the part in the Bambu lab slicer, and put it on the right side. Perfect symmetrical fit. The part hold the small plastic alignment "nipples" in place when the plate is pushed backwards on to them.
** A great solution to catch the filament, and help with the alignment of the build plate**

Really useful tool. I made an improvement with a TPU cap to make the clamping connection smooth, and softer. Would be cool if you could include different size models in the print file.

Very useful. Now I don't have to mess around with the 5. spool
Slightly improved the smoothness with remeshing the design, and importing it as a higher resolution STEP file + printed with 0.2mm nozzle on lower layer height.

Great solution. Interestingly the printer is more stable and less shaky with it. A nice unexpected bonus.

Great tool. Just don't colour the text black as I did. Realised later that the 3D scanner does not pick up black well.
